About Me
Hey! I'm Rohit Khattar — a continuous learner with a deep curiosity for technology. I learn best by building small things, experimenting with new tools, and iterating until it clicks.
This site exists to share those learnings, not just store them. Writing helps me clarify and reinforce what I understand—and sharing it openly is my way of making the journey useful for others too.
Here you'll find notes, patterns, and practical takeaways from my experiments—easy to revisit, and hopefully helpful to you as well.
What is TIL?
TIL stands for "Today I Learned." It's a collection of short posts—quick discoveries, reminders, and small "aha" moments that come up while reading, testing, debugging, or trying something new.
Inspired by Simon Willison's TIL, I wanted a simple place to keep these learnings organized and easy to find later.
Why TIL?
Because small notes compound over time:
- Helps turn experiments into clear takeaways
- Keeps a searchable archive I can return to
- Reinforces what I learn
- Occasionally helps someone else solve the same problem faster
Topics I Write About
You'll mostly find posts around:
- AI / GenAI (LLMs, agents, RAG, tooling)
- Software engineering
- Cloud-native engineering (Kubernetes, APIs, distributed systems)
- Cloud platforms and architecture
- Developer tools, workflows, and emerging tech experiments
